Foreword

Welcome to the 1st International Conference on Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, and AI Applications (ICCSDFAI 25) in Kazakhstan.

It is our pleasure to introduce the program for the 1st International Conference on Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, and AI Applications (ICCSDFAI 2025), organized by the Department of Intelligent Systems and Cybersecurity at Astana IT University, Kazakhstan.

This conference aims to foster a strong cybersecurity community, facilitating networking and collaboration between academia, industry professionals, authorities, key stakeholders, and students. As part of the event, we will host insightful speeches from high-ranking officials of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as renowned local and international experts from academic and industrial sectors. The conference will address critical challenges and emerging trends in cybersecurity, culminating in the official launch of the CyberTech Research Center at Astana IT University and the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation on Information Security.

Representatives from Information Security Operations Centers and IT companies will conduct practical workshops and guest lectures for conference participants.

Moreover, the two-day conference will feature the International Capture The Flag (ICTF) Competition, a 12-hour offline event following the Jeopardy format. The competition will cover various categories, including Malware, Forensics, Steganography, Cryptography, OSINT, and Web Pentesting, with difficulty levels ranging from easy to hard.

In addition to the ICTF, the AITU Hackathon will also be organized. Both events are part of the Scientific Project BR24993232 and are funded by the Scientific Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Furthermore, we have planned a cultural and entertainment program to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience for all participants visiting the capital of Kazakhstan.
